This the very first album I'm listening of his catalogue, and I can't say I don't like it. It's not emotionaly fluctuating, it's determined to coney very limited emotions and vibes and it does so with success. Maybe this quality makes it a bit monotonous, uninteresting and repetitive, but I don't hate the overall outcome. Kind of music I listen to when I I'm in the mood for, doesn't rise any new mood and feel but can amplify already exsisiting ones.

Days of Lantana is good, but otherwise I can't help but feel increasingly more disconnected from Ben's music with each new album he puts out. Just can't vibe with his stuff anymore and it bums me out.

I'm sure there's an audience for this album, but I'm certainly not it. The album's name posits a question, but perhaps the question should really be: is the deaf community large enough for this album to be a success? Is it?

It is rather good! but I also understand why some people might not like it, seems like they always expect the artist to stay on one path and produce the same album recycled. But that's just what makes Ben so wonderful in his evolution, he lives his life and his sound develops with him, and we get to experience that evolution with each album.
