Beth Gibbons (born 4 January 1965, in Exeter, United Kingdom) is best known as the vocalist and front woman for the trip hop band Portishead. With Portishead, Gibbons released two studio albums and a live album in the 1990s, followed by a third studio album in 2008.
Gibbons has also collaborated on a separate project with former Talk Talk member Paul Webb a.k.a. Rustin Man. The Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man album, Out of Season, came out in 2002.
2024 saw Gibbons' début as a solo recording artist in her own right. The album Lives Outgrown came out on 17 May of that year, to universal acclaim.
