sorry, lailamb, but Fridman is fucking amazing. the only albums he hasn't laid his gold touch on have been MGMT's and, I guess, this one. Listen to the new Flaming Lips or something for some perspective. Still, I love this album...

wouldve disagreed with greengender a week ago, but i realized the key to liking this album is accepting that they're the same band just choosing to move into a new direction, i think anyone who's been listening to them for a awhile and really got accustomed to the old stuff would agree

I'm still pumped after having gotten a copy of a sealed pink vinyl version of Dandelion Gum, so I can't wait to get my hands on a physical release for this album. Obviously it's worth buying a release to support the band, but BMSR knows how to really make it worth it with their fun packages.

i'm dreaming of a physical copy with HAIR on it! also, looking at this tracklisting, i'm going to retag the final track as they have it here - so it won't scrobble as the "untitled" from Dandelion Gum..

If Born on a Day and Twin of Myself are any indication, this is going to be one hell of an album.
