It’s sad that this album never got the recognition and appreciation that the albums before it had.

My problem with this album is that it has two of the best Black Sabbath songs closing the A-side, after those the B-side sounds weaker than it actually is. I might enjoy it more if it had different track order.

While it's not my favourite of the bunch, I think it's pretty fair to objectively state that this is Ozzy-era Sabbath at its absolute peak.

This one took me the longest to get into but it's definitely the equal of the previous five. Symptom Of The Universe and The Thrill Of It All are both probably in their top 10 best songs I reckon.

1975 as to be my fav year in music. Led Zep - Physical Graffiti, Pink Floyd - WYWH, ABBA - ABBA, Queen - A Night At The Opera, Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks and of course this masterpiece.

Really? You're probably the first person who likes Sabbath at all that I've seen or heard say he/she doesn't like the Ozzy albums (or only likes this one, in this case). So do you prefer the Dio albums or what? I personally love stuff from all throughout their history so I'm just curious to get your take on which Sabbath you like etc.

I listened to them all, this is the only one that really grabbed me. Was not implying I like other singers better... those albums are so different, it doesn't even seem like the same band.

Their most progressive album I think... Symptom Of The Universe and Hole In The Sky are some of their best songs made!!!!!! This stuff rocks!

Their most underrated and most progressive album. A predecessor of prog metal here.

Tough choice but best Sabbath album for me. Megalomania, Thrill of it All and The Writ just snatch it over Paranoid and MOR.

This is totally a progressive rock album and no one can ever convince me otherwise.

This seems to be incredibly underrated. Critics will tell you that only Paranoid is good or only the debut or only Master of Reality or sometimes some combination of the three, many "fans" will tell you only the first four are any good, etc., but at any rate Sabotage stacks up favorably against their best material. How can anyone record with shitkickers like "Hole in the Sky" and the classic "Symptom of the Universe" not rule? "Megalomania" is a great Sabbath epic as well, and "Am I Going Insane" and "The Thrill of It All" are quite good as well. Really a very good album from start to finish, with the whole band sounding energetic and committed. This is one of Ozzy's better performances, IMO.

Bill Wards red pantyhose on the album cover has always fascinated me. The whole cover just screams 70's.
