Originally written with Miley Cyrus in mind, “Karma’s A Bitch” is a song originally recorded by Brit Smith. The song never saw the light of the day and remained unreleased till JoJo Siwa bought rights to the song and released it under her name in 2024.
Brit’s version quickly went viral on the internet immediately after Siwa released the song in 2024. Smith confirmed in an interview in April 2024 that it was supposed to be her first single but her label insisted she went with another song, called “Provocative”, as her lead single.
Smith soon left the music industry after her first single.
