Só Se For a Dois, Cazuza's second solo album was recorded in the second half of 1986. As the record company Som Livre decided to end its cast, PolyGram then hired Cazuza and released the album in March 1987 on the label Philips (now Universal Music Group). Só Se For a Dois includes the hits "O Nosso Amor a Gente Inventa (Uma Estória Romântica) and "Solidão Que Nada", in addition to "Vai à Luta", which was not so well known. Só Se For a Dois was sold. 600,000 copies, despite not having the same publicity as the other albums. In interviews about the album at the time, Cazuza said: "The album Só Se For a Dois, allowed me to use something not rock 'n' roll . I have this side of a steakhouse singer…", in this album Cazuza experimented with different partnerships, considering that many of the bases of the songs were made together with his backing band.
