“Femininomenon“ is the opening track to Chappell Roan's debut studio album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. Roan states that the word was created because it was “a phenomenon if sleeping with a man was better than sleeping with a girl”.
““Femininnomenon” is like three songs in one, it was pretty difficult to write and figure out, but I love it…We just kind of obviously made the word up. But it was about like how it’s a phenomenon if like sleeping with a man is better than sleeping with a girl. So I was like, “It’s a phenomenon, but it’s also feminine.” And so we just kind of mushed it together.“ – via PopBuzz
