In "Blood Bunny", being three years since the release of her 2018 album "Rabbit Hearted.", Chloe dives even further into exploring her identity through music, adopting a new pop-punk style and even writing about everything from her favorite bands to cannibalism.
The 18-year-old stated in an interview with Flood Magazine that she drew inspiration from pop icons like Avril Lavigne and Hayley Williams of Paramore while creating "Blood Bunny", as well as the movie Jennifer’s Body to create the gory fantasy of "I Eat Boys". Chloe has stated that she hopes the songs on "Blood Bunny" can serve as inspiration for listeners to try something new, whether that be with their music, art, or style, she would like the album to be a message to “do whatever the hell you want.”
