I still find it difficult to believe he's gone. Even after all our other losses this year, it doesn't feel possible.

if it weren't for that awesome bassline of his on roundabout I heard years ago, I probably wouldn't have given Yes' music a try. Thanks Chris for everything.

Basically, Chris Squire was one of those guys that made me LOVE music! Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans and Drama were three magical stones in my childhood. So, I just want to say: Thank you, Chris, it was really good to share the same planet with you in a great part of my lifetime! You will be obviously the best bassist, forever and ever.

Chris Squire acabou de nos deixar, grande perda para música, fez essa obra-prima, que as vezes chego a gostar mais que dos álbuns do Yes. Que descanse em paz.

"I believe you make music for the beauty of your soul, your realization of life, and the joy of making music." - Jon Anderson of Yes talks about the spiritual inspirations behind the likes of "And You And I," "Long Distance Runaround" and "Starship Troopers," which Anderson thinks of as his "search for truth and search for an understanding of what God truly is." Anderson also speaks of his return to the band in the 1980s, when Yes became unlikely MTV stars, all thanks to "Owner Of A Lonely Heart": http://www.songfacts.com/blog/interviews/jon_anderson_of_yes/
