Christina Maria Aguilera (born December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York, United States) is a and singer, producer, and songwriter who debuted in 1998 with the song Reflection for the soundtrack to the Disney film, Mulan. She has since sold over 90 million records worldwide. She has won seven Grammy Awards, including two Latin Grammy Awards. She has also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and holds the prestigious honor of being the only artist under the age of 30 included in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 100 greatest singers of all time. Additionally, in 2021 she received the inaugural Music Icon Award at the People's Choice Awards.
Aguilera has achieved five No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart making her the fourth female artist to top the chart over three consecutive decades (1990s, 2000s, and 2010s).

She has released ten albums, one of which is a compilation and nine of which are studio albums: Christina Aguilera (1999), Mi Reflejo (2000), My Kind of Christmas (2000), Stripped (2002), Back to Basics (2006), Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade of Hits (2008), Bionic (2010), Lotus (2012), Liberation (2018) and AGUILERA (2022).

Aguilera is best known for her vocal ability, music videos, and ever-changing image. She includes themes of dealing with public scrutiny, her painful childhood, and female empowerment in her music. She has also dedicated much of her time as a philanthropist for charities, human rights and world issues. In 2009, she was named the Ambassador Against Hunger for the World Food Programme.
