The mastering on this album is also fucking amazing. That's how an album should sound.

I have listened to both Alexisonfire and City and Colour since they both began, and while some songs on this album are fantastic, I still have bitter feelings towards Dallas for leaving AoF, so a part of me will always dislike this album. The octave harmonies get a bit old after a while as well.

The full band sound suites him perfectly, but he pulls it back when needed. Amazing album.

His best album, by far. One of the most emotional records i've ever heard in my life.

i was told by someone that this album wasn't good, that it didn't compare to Bring Me Your Love...he couldn't have been more wrong! this is a great album! We Found Each Other in the Dark, Grand Optimst, and Weightless are amazing! totally loving every track off of it

I had this down as a poppy, bluesy piece of crap before I heard anything off it. For some reason, bought it on the day it came out having only heard Fragile Bird, and no album has stunned me so much for being the Polar opposite of what I imagined. Forget BMYL, this surpasses even Sometimes in my books, one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. Natural Disaster, Grand Optimist, Northern Wind, Sorrowing Man and Silver & Gold are some of the finest songs Dallas has ever written.
