Featuring South African singer Petite Noir, this track once again visits Danny’s rock star lifestyle—similar to the concept on “Die Like A Rockstar.”
This song was released via NPR Music during an interview. Danny details how the song originated from “The great world that is Twitter”:
“…I was up at four in the morning, and just checking my DM’s, and I had a DM from Petite Noir. And he was just like, you know, he liked my music, and you know, check his music out. You know, people send you stuff like that all the time. but I was like, whatever, it was four in the morning, I had nothing else better to do.”
Danny and Noir sent sections of the song to one another, with Noir piecing Danny’s verses together over his production in combination with the bridge:
“…Then he sent the beat.. then he sent the hook, then I wrote a verse, sent it back, then he wrote the bridge and tinkered the beat, then I sent another verse…”
