If a band puts out the same sound then it's bland and boring. If they change then they're sellouts. Fickle fans like yourself will never truly be happy with anything you hear that isn't one of the albums you feel most nostalgic about.

Best album since Character, IMHO. Definitely a grower, amazing guitar work and Mr. Stanne is simply... a massive presence!

That's a good one, really. Most "guitar" album since "We are the Void", made by forms of "Construct" though.

Ever since they started to make melodeath more atmospheric they've been on a winning streak. This one is no exception. Gets better the more you listen!

After some solid but unessential albums throughout the last decade, DT is back on a winning streak. Atoma was their best album in years, and now Moment continues the incredible quality.

It's been mixed for sure. Melodic death metal isn't as trendy as atmospheric black metal that sounds like it was made with a machine learning algorithm.

I don't get it. To me, this is the first time an album of theirs sound this derivative of their previous material. Hence this sounds like it was made with a machine learning algorithm, specifically based on Atoma and fed with a few bits from older albums for good measure. Also, I remember it being hardly mdm and you might've not listened to good atmo black.

AWesome. But disagree that it's their best since *blank* when Atoma was a fucking great album.

"Character" and "Damage Done" are far from their best albums, so it means "Moment" not that good.

With Johan and Chris on guitars, Moment could be the most intense DT album since their golden age (late 90s to-mid 2000s). Phantom Days is brilliant and harkens back to that high energy, riff driven era so I'm hyped.
