Queria que ele tivesse feito um album chamado young latin americans na pegada tropical da música latina

A fantastic album, except for the absolutely horrendous version of "Across the Universe".

Young Americans, Fascination, Somebody Up There Likes Me and Fame are the standouts. God, I love Fascination and Somebody Up There Likes Me.

Nobody can deny the fact that Bowie mastered the "plastic soul" genre here. Also, the backing vocals are some of the best ever recorded by any artist. And don't forget it was the first album with the great Carlos Alomar.

I always avoided this album but now that I have listened to it I wish I checked it out sooner.

I seriously love this album. While I would say his Station to Station - Scary Monsters era is his best, I probably have the most fun listening to Young Americans. It may not be as affecting as some of Bowie's other ones, but YA just makes me wanna dance.
