“Medicine” was a single released in May, 2021 as a part of his debut album "Harmony House". The song epitomizes everything audiences love from frontman Sloan Struble: bubbly, happy pop with retro overtones. Its bouncy beat and infectious chorus will cure the worst case of Monday blues.
In a video on his YouTube channel about how he made the song, Struble said that: “Medicine was actually one of the first songs I wrote on "Harmony House". I was listening to a lot of Doobie Brothers. It’s a lot of the whole funk meets yacht rock meets pop genre,” he said, adding on that the keys were inspired by “What A Fool Believes.”
The music video for the song echoes the ‘70s vibe as Struble sings in front of a mannequin-like band. His suit is straight out of The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour, and a cardboard camera floats in and out of frame, eventually panning to a non-existent audience.
