The first DKs album I ever heard and the best. Discovered it on cassette at the public library. I had never heard anything like it. Rawer and more vital than any metal I had ever heard. Now, 40 years later, I wonder if that was the moment I became a socialist?

Aside from the undeniable genius of East Bay Ray on guitar and the newly introduced D.H. Peligro on drums, Jello's lyrics on this thing are out of this world. The extreme sardonicism that he developed throughout Fresh Fruit is only expanded upon and improved exponentially. Probably the best lyricist in popular music (in terms of social commentary).

This is their most underrated album, seriously. And definitely their fastest and most aggressive.
