You should watch the documentary "Deadguy: Killing Music" if you haven't yet. Yes there is actually a documentary about Deadguy and it is great.

The whole time I was listening to Fixation On A Co-Worker I was just like "Oh THIIIIIIS is where Norma Jean got their schtick!"

the Deadguy Quintet ep is kind of whatever, not that great honestly. The closest thing to a followup to Fixation is that Kiss It Goodbye lp which had Tim and Kieth and also Andrew from Rorschach.

This is what Metalcore is actually supposed to sound like. Fuck this A7X or BFMV 00's shit!

Great band...Fixation on a Coworker...ahead of it's time. As was Deadguy, truth be told.

Yeah for the fallen dreams & all that other fantastically generic & trite metalcore you listen to is way better.

If theres one thing we can all agree about Deadguy, is that they probably had the most naff artwork ever.

Screamin' has their best songs, but I listen to Fixation more for whatever reason. Probably just out of not wanting to have to change the record after fifteen minutes.

"really good, overlooked oldschool metalcore" Of course an 18 year old who just found out about them in some magazine publication WOULD say this. If entirely honest, they're not overlooked at all, Many people speak about them and will continue to do so, to gain points in the bullshit namdropping circus we call life, stick to wonderfully unremarkable music like Brand new.

Really good, overlooked oldschool metalcore. Either Makeshift Atomsmasher or Pins and Needles are the best songs on Fixation. This sounds similar to Calculating Infinity by Dillinger Escape Plan a fair bit as well.

correction sumitgill, it was EXC and hatebreed who unleashed a shitstorm of worthless moshmetal on the unsuspecting crowds of the mid-late 90s, deadguy had no hand in any of that generic bullshit.........in fact youd be rather hardpressed to find bands who sound like deadguy nowadays or even 5 years ago...........

sumitgill: maybe they unleashed terrible bands, but deadguy definitivelly weren't terrible. on the contrary.

Who would win in a fight between Deadguy and a hurricane? Trick question. Deadguy is the hurricane.

"I'll hit a midget, and I know the other guys will too....it doesn't matter if it's a girl or guy all midgets are fair game in the world of DEADGUY" - Dave Rosenberg
