“Apokatastasis pantôn” (in the Greek alphabet, variously written as “ἀποκατάστᾰσις πάντων”, “ἀποκατάστασις πάντων”, or “ἀποκαταστάσεως πάντων”) is ancient Greek for “restoration of everything” or “restitution of all things”. In the context of Christian theology, the word “apokatastasis” appears only once in the New Testament, in Acts 3:19-2 (KJV):

“19. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21. Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”

This phrase and passage have been interpreted in several different ways (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocatastasis).

Deathspell Omega’s song “Apokatastasis pantôn” re-encapsulates musical themes previously heard in “Epiklesis II”.
