“Zatoichi” is the second single from Denzel Curry’s fifth studio album "Melt My Eyez See Your Future". On the track, Denzel and UK rapper slowthai paint a journey through a similar, desolate landscape to that described on the album’s first single, “Walkin.”
The track is named after the Japanese film and TV character Zatoichi, the longest running action character in Japanese modern media, first created in 1962 with the latest installment in the character’s multiple series coming in 2010. Zatoichi is a blind man, fitting with Denzel’s album title, and a skilled, lone swordsman, fitting with the lyrical themes that Denzel has described on the first two singles from the record.
