Wenn man sich selber so verarschen kann , und das in seiner größten Krise ( Dave , Martin ) .... dann ist man eine große Gruppe / Band und die Zeit hat es ja auch bewiesen .....sie sind die größten!!!! If you can fool yourself like that, even in your biggest crisis (Dave, Martin)... then you are a big group / band and time has proven it.....they are the biggest!!!!

Many of their videos are self parodies that make a mockery of the BIG music machine - the irony is that this band has ALL the resources prefers to do these cheesy clips.

I have a major issue with Depeche Mode. Whenever I hear a song from them, I immediately need to hear another one and that usually leads to a third one and then after that tune I usually forget I have other music available and just let Depeche Mode play and next thing I know, I've spent hours listening to them rather than a variety available to me......... it's a big problem, yet I couldn't care less that it happens !

I vividly remember first hearing this (driving south on Causeway Blvd. in Metairie, LA) in early '97 and being totally blown away. Easily one of the best "comeback" songs ever. Too bad they didn't put out more songs like it. Lady Gaga's "Do What U Want" is suspiciously similar to this song.

this song is so hauntingly dark... so brooding. be it the sexual subtext that many people below have brought up, or the fleeting morbidness that some others have noticed. I do believe it is underrated in terms of its depth and strength, because while the majority pays attention to the seeming insipidness of the lyric, its enchantingly perverse purport and symbolism remain to be discovered by the ones who give this masterpiece the attention it deserves, both musically and lyrically.

Sexy? Are you lot sure about that? I guess it would be if it wasn't so disturbing.
