“Change” is the follow up single to Djo’s late 2020 single “Keep Your Head Up” and was first announced on June 17, 2022 through social media post that informed fans on a phone number (928-8-DECIDE) to call. After calling the number a text message would be sent saying:
"YO IT’S DJO – TO HEAR THE FULL VERSION OF MY NEW SONG “CHANGE” WHEN IT DROPS, SIGN-UP HERE:"
On June 21, 2022, Djo would make a post to his social media accounts officially announcing the song to be releasing the very next day on June 22, and provided fans with the songs pre-save link.
