So glad I tried this just a while ago. Instant addiction. I recognise Ryanne from Dutch tv haha. She looks an awful lot like Patti Smith. Only positives here.

They have grown a lot since the first album. Now I rediscovered them and I'm really enjoying their sound.

But how so? The Devil's Blood's music is awfully joyful, while Dool is the perfect definition for what a dark rock band should be

Most Dutch bands are utter shit, but I'm glad they're here to turn the needle the other way. Here now, There then is awesome.

Most? Carach Angren, Urfaust, Asphyx, Asagraum, Textures, Laster, Gold, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Clan of Xymox, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble (best darkjazz I ever listened!), Timecop1983, Laserdance, First State, finally Dool and The Devil's Blood... do you say that I was lucky enough to find only awesome bands, if there's such amount of "utter shit" ones?

Yes. Btw, Armin van Buuren and Tiesto aren't really bands or artists... They're walking billboards that press play on a CD-player.

Yeah, I was making some kind of brachylogy, they're DJs, not bands. But being DJ needs some kind of competence. At least while making such good quality music as AvB & Tiësto make. You know, it's not playbacking everything, it's using synthesizer and often spontaneously changing concepts or making new ones.
