On “Stories About My Brother,” Drake celebrates the lives he and his brothers lead and does not shy away from flexing the fame and riches he and his accomplices have amassed. While he may get briefly lost in the lyrical bravado and boastful nature he is known for, he frequently refocuses the song on his brothers with the repeated lyrics,Let me tell you ‘bout my brother, though and goes on to tell stories of the acts, accomplishments, and tribulations of his brothers. This song, like the rest of the six new tracks on For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition, places a heavy emphasis on Drake’s lyrical craftsmanship. This song marks the second collaboration between Drake and producer Conductor Williams, following their first collab earlier this year with “8am in Charlotte” on Drake’s eighth studio album, For All The Dogs. In an Instagram post, Conductor Williams stated “Working with Drake allows me to be a bit more musical, and hunt for melodies that call and respond to each other. I am so thankful that we linked. The musical connection is natural.”
