Biography
(1) DUNIA is an Indonesian Instrumental Progressive Metalcore band from Indonesia. It started when Yutsi made a project with Fadil, and in 2014 DUNIA was formed. The first band formation was Yutsi (guitar), Fadil (ex.guitar), and Joshua (drum). in January 2015, DUNIA had released their single "Ignition", which also featured on Indonesian Djentlemen compilation album. The formation was changed after Fadil signed out and replaced by Redhy Mahendra (guitar). DUNIA became a finalist of Digilive Bandfest 2016 with their single "Ignition" and got a chance to live-record it.
In December 23rd 2016, DUNIA had released new single "The Wanderers" which has a guest solo guitar by Soichiro Mizuno (Japan). The Guitar Playthrough video was uploaded on DUNIA's YouTube channel. DUNIA's Debut EP "Semesta Fana" has been released on January 2, 2017 Independently, and it's available on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, Deezer, Google, Amazon, etc.
DUNIA have been supported by International Media Promoters, such as, ItDjents and DjentWorldwideTV by the uploading of Semesta Fana's EP stream and Traverse The White Light's Drum Playthrough into their YouTube Channel.
Besides ItDjents, have been interviewed by local Music Magazine and Media, such as Rolling Stone, Paling Berisik, Musikeras, Gitar Plus, DCDC Musik, and Wasted Rockers.
DUNIA became a nominee on Soul of Steel Award of HAMMERSONIC AWARDS 2017 and got distributed by Undying Music.
(2) Dunia was born in Cuba. She has been singing professionally since the age of 16 and is currently breaking into the American music scene.
