5:26 PM Sunday February 18th 2024: Well ... here I am ... listening to Stratosphere while drinking vodka and vaping HHC. The coffee I had earlier shot me into a state of anxiety, so I'm drinking some vodka in an effort to modulate my GABA production and keep me feeling better. I wish I had some benzodiazepines for situations like this but unfortunately it's very difficult to get a psychiatrist to prescribe you some, especially with my history of rehabilitation visits for alcoholism.

From the first listen it feels like you had centuries of history together with this album already

Of course depending on how you feel at any given time you may prefer the other albums by Duster, but this record is hands down Duster's best. If you want to introduce Duster to your friends, this is the record to start with.

Bleak yet poignant, and with a distinct quaintness, this album really is one of a kind. It's one of those albums which sound deceptively simple to the uninitiated but actually have very few parallels if any.
