Biography
Duumu was the main project of Charlie Kurata, an electronic producer and songwriter born and currently based on France. He has dabbled into a variety of genre, in and outside of the electronic music space, most notably future bass, house, and at his early year, chillout.
He got most of the popularity by releasing various releases over at the Canadian-based independent record label Monstercat, most well known for jumpstarting artists such as Marshmello, San Holo, and more.
He's also currently releasing under his own name, Charlie (see no. 13), mainly releasing chillout tracks under the genre of ambient, lo-fi, and more, as well as doing producing and songwriting works for other artists such as Ffion (see no. 1), ÊMIA, Marian Carmel, and more.
He announced that he's retiring this project on his socials 2 days before the release of his last EP, After You, which was self-released in October 22nd, 2021.
