Biography
Ella Isaacson is a pop star/artist.
She is co-signed by Norweigan superproducers Stargate and is the first artist to be developed by the duo. Responsible for creating hits for Sam Smith, Lizzo, Charli XCX, Beyonce, Rihanna and Katy Perry, the pair met the songstress through a mutual friend.
Influenced by her cousin, a highly regarded producer in the sync world, Ella began writing songs at the age of 13 and recorded her first demo with his help. Trained in the classic elements of opera, theatre, and choir, she made the transition to pop.
After managers advised her to change her style and dye her hair blue to appeal to the pop landscape, she was introduced to Swedish songwriters who advised her to take a trip to Sweden to regain focus and inspiration.
There, she took new inspirations and found her new music style. Ella's affinity for dynamic production composed of a genre-less sound and signature guitars provide the framework for her startling vulnerability. Grappling with OCD at young age and other life experiences, her songs touch on universal themes listeners can relate to including fear, expectations, being misunderstood and feeling lost.
A proponent of female empowerment, Ella has learned the art of vocal producing and engineering in an attempt to gain more control over her work and shatter gender roles. Her most recent work includes co-writing "San Junipero" with Bryce Vine and a collaborative session Dinah Jane from Fifth Harmony.
She was previously known as Ryder.
