It's the start of a new millennium. I am 11 or 12 years old and know nothing about music. It was my electronic phase, and I was desperate for more sick beats in my life but knew nothing - there was, after all, no internet widely available. I remember going to a small kiosk near my house, where there sold bootleg CDs (in my country, the real deal was too costly). The first time I asked for some cool shit, the dude recommended me Tweekend by The Crystal Method. I loved it to death. The second time it was Sunday 8 PM. My 12-year-old brain wasn't at first ready for its chill vibes, but soon enough, I was all over it, listening to that CD over and over. It was a revelation. Still is. Thanks, dude at the kiosk. Your recommendations were fire.

I was obsessed with this album back in my uni days and especially "Take The Long Way Home". Strange to be listening to it again now

2 things keep this album from being perfect for me: dido's contribution on postcards and the unfortunate hour of need song
