As much as I wish they did too, idk if I wanna live in a world where Demanufacture might not exist

Dino Cazares did good on this cd. I should join fear factory. Or make a thrash band with Dino Cazares.

My first album with Fear Factory. I love their later stuff, but it was their early industrial death metal sound that got me into them.

i like all of fear factory's albums but each are quite different this one being the most raw and brutal . i feel this album is definitely the best for its style of death metal and seems to be the most memorable. i would rank this number 1 for best death metal. next to the industrialist for best concept album, archetype for best soft-heavy album and demanufacture for the best diverse genre album.

best. it's so far ahead of it's time to the point of being ridiculous. seriously, why did they have to get old and soft?!

This album blew my mind in 1990 and reshaped how I looked at music going forward for the rest of my life.

2010 versions of Martyr and Crash Test are great. Hope one day they will re-record the whole album

Very influential in my taste of music today, Soul of a New Machine gets my vote as one of the top five metal albums of the nineties along with [artist]Sepultura[/artist]’s Arise, [artist]Megadeth[/artist]’s Rust in Peace, [artist]Suicidal Tendencies[/artist] Lights….…Camera……Revolution and [artist]Slayer[/artist]’s Seasons in the Abyss
