Am I the only one thinking he looks like Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs?

'Vigil in a wilderness of Mirrors' is a great prog album. Many hidden gems there.

When you see his solo carreer and Marillion's carreer, it is fairly obvious that they wanted to go into different musical directions. By the way, Fish never wrote a single note of music, so his influence on Marillion's albums was limited to the lyrics and his singing. On his current tour, Fish is playing some great acoustic versions of both his solo years and Marillion classics, I was really impressed by his performance in Paris last week.

It's true that the vast majority of Marillion albums are shit now, but every now and again you get decent stuff like Brave or Marbles.

Marillion with Fish was amazing, now it's not the same... . what a stupid comment.. No it's not the same, everybody understands it's not the "same" What does that mean? is Marillion better now? and of course it's not the same because they have another vocalist! worthless comments.

"Funny that this page is for his solo carreer, but still everybody is talking about Marillion. As if Fish without Marillion was not worth much..." It is a tad harsh. I think it understandable, though, given that, while good, the majority of Fish's solo material - with a few exceptions - doesn't reach the brilliance of his work with Marillion. If only he'd do a whole album of material like the Plague of Ghosts suite.

I loved Fish era Marillion - as per others it was never quite the same once he left. Interesting how they have developed since I last paid any attention about oooooh 15 years ago.
