“Blinding” is track 12 on Florence + The Machine’s multi-platinum debut album “Lungs”. Florence uses fairytale flights of fantasy to tell her listeners about the love and pain in our vulnerable youth.
In a 2009 interview, Florence spoke of the recording process of the song:
We projected a massive moon on the side of the wall… And turned all the lights off… We made the moon go on the ceiling and I had to lie on a bed and mutter.
