Now she’s going to sleep once again Near the drawer where she keeps her best friend And everything’s over In the drawer where she keeps her best friend How small is your life Are you too cold to notice? Is anywhere better than here? A journey inside your black and white postcard Discover that colours were there Burning out

There's a beautiful instrumental piece near the end, which sounds like a film score. During which you can hear a woman reading what sounds like a children's story. She can be heard saying "she shrivelled and she shrank". I can't make out all the words, but she says something like "she drank and she drank". Does anyone know whose voice it is? I know the song is about Valerie Solanos, but can anyone explain the meaning of these lines?
