Glup! is a Chilean pop/rock band founded in Santiago, Chile in 1996 by Koko and Marcel Molina, with Rodrigo and Grapevine Stambuk joining soon after the band was brought to them. In 1997, Gustavo Chavín Labrín also joined. Although the band recorded their first demo in 1996, it wouldn't be until 1999 that they recorded in a studio. They quickly became known, especially after their performance at the International Festival of Viña del Mar. In 2000, while the band was recording their second album, guitarist Tom Picetti joined the band. Picetti and Gustavo Chavín left the band after the "Así es la Vida Tour 2001-2002". Rodrigo Vizcarra came in to replace Tom.
