  • Born In

Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom

Greta Isaac is a folk singer/songwriter from Cardiff, UK. Her music an electric amalgamation of pop, folk and alternative rock – excavates the messy, fraught and dramatic charm of the modern human experience, turning her personal experiences into songs that are poetic, vibrant and alive. And like all good art, it can help us learn something about our own lives in the process. Her debut EP "Pessimist", and follow up "I Think You’d Hate It Here" are filled with huge pop melodies that are grounded by tight folk harmonies and rich organic instrumentation. They are exuberant, raw and assertive collections of songs that see Greta navigating millennial anxieties, her newfound artistic fluidity and her position as woman in modern society.
