“Hunter” continues the story of Bloodhail; the Hunter ascends a staircase made of all of humanity and strikes down God with a fury of arrows. In the zine that comes with the album, this is a metaphor told by an Antiochean prophet who is watching Antiochus, the nihilistic, central character in the zine, burn to death.
Once God is on the ground, dead, He tells the Hunter, humanity, and even the animals to eat His flesh as needed.
