"Munch (Feelin' U)" is a fun and empowering hip-hop jam that is all about the artist's own self-confidence and independence. It celebrates the glamour, beauty and independence that come with being an independent, strong woman in the hip-hop scene, while simultaneously mocking unhealthy, possessive and needy relationships with men that can too often lead to disappointment or worse. The song also serves as a reminder that no one should ever have to compromise their values or identity just to please someone else. Ice Spice also uses the lyric to discuss being misunderstood because of her lifestyle and appearance; that for many "munch" is a slang term for someone who is overly eager to please people, which can lead to them going against their own values which is the exact opposite of the message here.
