Glam-o-mania rating: 4 / 5. While certainly less heavy than the debut and way more accessible, it's pros and cons that pretty much tie Icon's first two albums to me. While the heavy metal aesthetics of the debut definitely appeal to me more, I just love these 80's keyboards and AOR-flirty tunes. A slightly different Icon, but just as good.

i love this album...i was 13 when this came out and lived in Phx, AZ where the band was from...i had an older friend who knew these guys and i got to see them front row at "Celebrity Theater", Flotsam and Jetsam opened up, which had Jason Newstead who eventually ended up in Metallica...it was a weird match up but amazing..."Night of the Crime" is a classic....

I remember this album well, it was the winter of '85, I was 16 years old and bummed out about some chick who I had a crush on (or some other teenage lovelorn crap). There were a lot of ballads and slower songs on this, and except for "(Take Another) Shot at My Heart" and "Out For Blood", this was from the pretty poppy side of the hair metal movement.
