Ill Inspecta – Germaica’s New Blood
In a time of ongoing discussions about the relevance and importance of German lyrics, an
Artiste from “Benzi” town Stuttgart/Germany dismisses all fruitless passa passa with an
European attitude, lyrics in Jamaican Patois and astonishing song-writing skills.
Ill Inspecta dropped his debut-single “Funeral” on Germaican Records in April 2004. He
caught Germaica’s attention by simply sending in a 4-track-demo-CD (yes they still listen to those demos!)
He then joined the Germaican Scout project with Bobby Buster to record the smash “All A
Di Gal Dem” on the Germaican Jubilee Riddim Messer Banzani and “Heartis’” (a hommage to
their determination in the bizniz) for Austria’s Bassrunner label and several download-tunes for their website. He had his first release last November in Jamaica with the gal-tune “Kriss Like This” on the Jamaican release of the famous Cure Riddim.
Constantly on the road with Germaican mastermind Pionear, Ill Inspecta is sharpening his live skills and is surely an Artiste to look out for the debut album on December 2nd 2006.
