So many emotions and such a powerfull energy flowing from beginning to end. Beautiful journey. Feeling alone but whole.

I actually do like this album a lot. It came out when I was a 17-year-old high school student and countless hours listening to it. Good times.

20 year anniversary. Will they play any songs from this album? Well as far as 2023 goes, the answer is no. Hell, I even said to the band when I met them at Bloodstock 'Hey, 20 year anniversary coming up!' and they just said 'yeah, it's been a long time.' Damn.

I still can't hate the band for deciding to experiment. Some songs worked, some didn't. Not just here but in other albums. This is a good album nonetheless, one of the better ones since the stylistic change.

I am starting to love this record a lot lately and I think some of the material on here is even more relevant now with their newer stuff than some of the fan's favourite that came after such as Come Clarity. Some very solid songs on this release, too often slept upon.

Revisiting this record after some years. Contrary to many here, I think it's a very solid release. Yes, I dig their "Nu Metal/Alternative" influence here (there's a strong Korn vibe on this one), but I still think this is far better than everything Korn ever released. Also, I like the lyrics; one of the best things about IF post-RTR is their more introspective side that was reflected into these songs.

I dont understand why most of people says it's the worst album of In Flames. In my opinion its very good. Of course its very different from old IF albums but its still great music. [2] Not as good as before but IF reaches a maturity (like RTR) with great atmospheres and some great riffs, maybe their last good album.

I am realizing something...this is an album where you really want to be in a mood where the vocals/lyrics hit you for it to be strongest. The music is somewhat weak and a bit overly melodic at times, but the lyrics/vocals are probably Anders's strongest showing. So much relatable pain in the vocals/lyrics...it's like a therapy session in sound.

Also to those who condemned this album...don't be so closed minded. A lot of passion and pain went into this album. It truly covers a wider range of emotions than any other release they've done since.

This is my favorite from them actually...could be because it helped me out of a really rough point in my life.

Excellent album. (I used to hate it back in the days, though) But, Lunar Strain is my favourite, always.

I love the sound of Daniel's china-cymbal on this record, it sounds like a sonar pulse.

No one noticed this album is a concept about escaping from ourselves and our lives. This is one of the motives to judge it one of their best album. This is so underrated.

IMHO one of their best albums together with Jester Race, Colony and Whoracle.
