Isengard was a solo project of Fenriz (vocals and drums for 'Darkthrone'). started in 1989 and ended in 95'
it was based around viking metal / norwegian black metal,
Fenriz created isengard because he had musical idea's that didnt fit in with the stylings of Darkthrone,
Fenriz performed all intrument and vocals himself.
Vinterskugge was a combination of 3 demos recorded before the full length album 'Hostmorke'.
