I love this even more than I did when making this comment. Seriously phenominal album.

Still a little immature to me, the best would come on the next album. Jay's vocals feel a little like the the parody of theirs later self. The rest of the band really shines though!

Bass-this, bass-that. The percussion on this album is what really shines imo...

I love listening to the basslines rolling through this album, so funky, I think it's his best. Tight yet loose at the same time, if ya get me... 'Whatever It Is, I Just Can't Stop' is pure class.

I agree with you on this album Seq. The members that caught my heart (ear) were Stuart Zender - Bass (1992-1998), Derrick McKenzie - Drums (current), Toby Smith - Keyboards (1992-2002) and Wallis Buchanan - Didgeridoo (1992-2001)... I honestly I heard a fat, religious, soulful, gospel singing Southern black woman... Little did I know it was skinny ole Jay letting it go on the mics. He seriously defied my expectations.

Does anyone else like "Whatever It Is, I Just Can't Stop"? Pretty under-rated track. It's so funk-a-licious you can't help but groove to it!
