Ugh... I really hate when people mix up ska and reggae. Take a class on musical history and you'll realize reggae is to Rastafarians what Gospel is to Christianity. Ska grew out of a disdain for the feeling blacks and whites should be at odds when both brought something unique to music, and rejected the Rastafarian message. Though the two SOUND the same, there is a HUGE difference between Reggae and Ska. One is religious, one is not. You don't have to take my word for it. Take some musical history courses at even your local community college, and you'll be shown the progression and evidence to prove it. That said, Joe Jackson has impressed me in ways VERY few other artists have (Billy Joel comes to mind as being similar), in that Jackson has shown he and Graham Maby are capable of producing AMAZING music in just about any format. Heck, unlike most Jackson fans (and I am one), it was Jumpin' Jive which REALLY got me into Jackson's music.

LOVE the reggae feel. Nice job, Joe! And nice songwriting... the punchline is that he's talking about himself.

So many memorable lines from this..."Fools in love / gently tear each other limb from limb..." Love that creeping bassline.
