i like both versions. But when I first heard the cash version, I assumed that he did it first and I somehow missed that soundgardens was a cover this whole time,...lol I felt so lost at that point. But I think its pretty respectable to pick a song that was out of his genre, and more geared towards a younger generation

Cash made some pretty bold choices in his later career and completely nailed every cover that he made. He was always cool (at least to me), but doing cover songs in his own unique style made him that much cooler.
