Yandhi is the scrapped ninth studio album by Kanye West. It was originally scheduled for release on September 29, 2018, after Kanye heard the original beat for Hurricane during a session with Chance the Rapper, and wanting to make an album based on that sound. Due to Ye and his team not finishing it, it was rescheduled, only to be indefinitely postponed because West felt like the album wasn't finished, leading to the album being worked in. In July 2019, 9 tracks from the September recordings of the album were leaked and some bootlegs of the album surfaced. Once the Sunday Service Choir was founded, Yandhi begun to feature Christian themes in its tracks and slowly developed into Kanye's ninth solo album, Jesus Is King, released in late 2019.
