Definitely it's my fav from the album. The sound is so enigmatic and surreal, it makes me feel like I'm in a vivid dream. The mesmerising solo in the end intensifies this feeling. And yep, I'm in love with Egypt)

Apparently this song was about a childhood friend she knew that had a healthy obsession with Egypt in school. He was fascinated by the cultural history of the country. From what I read, Kate said he traveled there and was shocked to find a much more realistic version of what Egypt is. The poverty of the country struck her friend with despair and it was almost a loss of innocence.

The first time I listened to this (properly) was in the back of my parents car sometime in 08, and it was pitch black outside except for the moon, so magical :)
