"it's fun, and deservedly celebratory" - I think that's why I don't mind it. I'm a sucker for Just Blaze, so I may sound a bit like a homer here. That said, it's like this album's So Appalled. I think a victory lap with Dre on the track at the end of an album that's linked so deeply with Compton is, at least thematically, not so off-the-wall. It's like the finale in a musical, sometimes you just need to go out big. If you needed me to cut one track from the album it'd probably be this one, but I like the album well enough with it there and I think that it, overall, adds to it.

i've come around to accept as flawless pretty much every song on this album, but i still can't get behind this track being on here. it's fun, and deservedly celebratory -- but as the closing track to what's otherwise one of the two or three best rap albums since Illmatic, it just feels super inappropriate. the Beats by Dre reference, Dre's presence period, the overall tone, and the cheesy vocoder outro just feels like such an incongruous way to peter out after such a thoughtful and measured record
