Может под них надо определенное настроение, хуй знает, но получился невнятный альбом, что немного удивляет от персон в составе. Вот Squalus из симиляров другое дело.

The vocals are atrocious. They turned something I could become a fan of and just kill it.

The Serpent & the Sphere, Pillorian and Khôrada they show that these musicians are very uninspired.

Amazing music, I'm really satisfied with these guys work. I'm very happy to recognize Anderson's distinctive touch in the song-writing and especially on the guitars.

The music is good, but I can't stand the vocals, to be honest. I'd probably be really into this if they had a different singer.

yeah, can't but agree. The vocals kinda ruin it for me. So I'm strongly in the Agalloch >>> Pillorian >>>>>>>> Khorada camp

I might be the only one, but I'm quite put off by the vocalist's incessant moaning about Trump in every article and even the album's description. Left a bad taste in my mouth that is hard to keep from bleeding over onto the impressions of the music. Actually it's sort of connected since he said that was an inspiration... and honestly, even his vocals sound like whining.

Donald Trump is a turd sandwich and part of a new wave of neo-conservatism combined with retarded backward reactionary populist right wing crap. He's right to say that Trump is a turd. Dunno why it bothers you that he said negative stuff about him. The music itself makes no kind of reference to this orange turd. Can't you just enjoy the music?

What bothers me is the world's current spitefulness... I feel as if people have turned into hungry wild dogs who can't wait to rip someone apart, and Trump is the easiest target. Everyone and their grandma is now shitting on him (if they're not busy shitting on men, straight people, white people, etc) and most of them don't understand politics or even make sense. I don't get it. He might not be the best president or even not the best person, but he's just another shitty politician, yet people paint him as THE evil incarnate, the fucking Devil himself. So much hate and blame. Blame on one single person for all the world problems. The kind of blame filled with bitterness and bile. I feel that in general society has become more spiteful... apparently it is now civil duty to put blame, dirt and every kind of "-ism" on people around, with Trump being the default option. It was tiring enough to see regular people do it, to see artists doing it as well is just off-putting.

That being said, music is of course more important, but I'm just saying my first impression was sort of ruined. I did try to listen but I'm having a hard time with the vocals, self-described as "vulnerable" - to me they are just... whiny. They *almost* sound like Neurosis (which is good), almost... but there's that element of dramatic weakness in them which kinda feels... too much, and sort of mismatched to the music. It feels off in a way that's hard to describe. But then again maybe I will give it another chance sometime.

Trump with his reforms and his liberticidal laws is pushing the world towards a new world war. I hope that all the nations of the world do not welcome his provocations. Om ..... ॐะ

And it shows in the music. The vocals are literally liberal whining, like if you could turn a salty socialist Facebook page into audio track.
