Kvist was a black metal band formed in 1993 in Hønefoss, Norway by the ex-members of deceased doom metal band Urd, Verðainne og Skuld. The group only released the full-length album "For kunsten maa vi evig vike" in 1996, and then split up in 1997. Reunited in 2022. Their music is an early example of melodic black metal.
