Biography
Lake Isabel is a contemporary classical piano project by the brothers Jack and Dan Barton. Based in Denver, Colorado, and New York City, the Barton Brothers are performers, songwriters, and composers who share a deep passion for the piano. Growing up as classically trained pianists and avid participants in choirs, Jack and Dan fostered a musical bond through shared experiences, including stereo listening sessions, piano lessons, and bunk beds.
Motivated by a desire to reconnect with their classical training and an innate love for crafting well-crafted yet accessible contemporary classical music, Lake Isabel was born. The Barton Brothers strive to deliver compositions that honor their musical roots and resonate with listeners.
In December 2018, Lake Isabel released their debut album, "Oak & Ivory".
