Unreleased is a fan-made compilation album consisting of scrapped and leaked materials, demos, as well as studio sessions and live performances of American singer-songwriter, Lana Del Rey.
Since the beginning of her career in mid-2000s, Del Rey has conceived a multitude of recordings under a variety of monikers, including Lizzy Grant, Sparkle Jump Rope Queen, May Jailer, The Phenomena—her former band, and Lana Del Rey. Majority of those recordings have been registered on music licensing sites, although having never seen any sign of getting released commercially, either due to cancellations or copyright issues.
Some of Del Rey's most well-known unreleased songs are Serial Killer, Queen of Disaster, Jealous Girl, Hundred Dollar Bill, You Can Be The Boss, and Yes to Heaven, with the latter receiving a long-awaited official release on May 19, 2023, renamed to Say Yes to Heaven and accompanied by a sped-up version.
As of 2023, Del Rey has included eleven previously unreleased songs on her studio albums, as listed below:
- Black Beauty on the deluxe version of Ultraviolence (2014),
- Beautiful People Beautiful Problems on Lust for Life (2017),
- California and The Next Best American Record on Norman Fucking Rockwell! (2019),
- Yosemite on Chemtrails Over The Country Club (2021), and
- If You Lie Down With Me, Dealer, Thunder, Nectar of the Gods, Living Legend, and Cherry Blossom on Blue Banisters (2021).
